A 681-lb sauna doesn't arrive like a small parcel. Here's exactly what happens, what it costs, and what to do at the curb.
Choose your delivery level
- Curbside Freight — FREE (every order, lower 48): liftgate truck lowers pallets to your curb or driveway. You move boxes inside — bring a helper. The carrier calls to schedule a 4-hour window.
- Threshold Delivery — +$149: into your garage or first dry, secure room. Same inspection protocol, none of the heavy lifting.
- White-Glove + Assembly — +$399: two techs place, assemble and test your unit, then haul away packaging. Electrical hookup by your licensed electrician.
Lead times
- In-stock models: ship in 5–7 business days, tracking within 48 hours of freight pickup
- Custom / made-to-order: 3–5 weeks, build-slot confirmation within 3 days
- Alaska, Hawaii & international: by quote — honest numbers before you pay, not after
The 5-step freight protocol (read before delivery day)
- Schedule. The carrier calls 24–48h ahead. An adult must be present.
- Count the pieces. Confirm the piece count on the delivery receipt before the truck leaves.
- Inspect BEFORE signing. The driver must wait while you inspect — that's carrier policy, don't be rushed.
- Note any damage on the receipt. Even a scuffed box: write it down, photograph it. A clean signature legally means "arrived perfect."
- Report within 48 hours. Send photos to us. Noted damage = free replacement panels or a replacement unit. We file the freight claim — not you.
Every shipment carries full-value freight insurance. This protocol isn't fine print to trap you — it's what makes the insurance pay out fast.
